ADRIAN, Mich. – The NCBA announced its latest Division III national rankings last week, with the Adrian College NCBA D3 baseball team coming in at No. 2 in the poll.
The Bulldogs enter the spring season with a 6-4 overall record, highlighted by a 5-1 mark at home during the fall portion of the schedule. Adam Lashaway leads Adrian offensively with nine hits and a .321 batting average on the season. Gage Hreben and Dakota Clift are each batting .444, while Stephen Anderson holds a .385 average.
On the mound, Adrian is led by Nate Linder, who has thrown 15 innings this season while posting a 0.60 ERA.
The Bulldogs will open the spring portion of their schedule by hosting the University of Akron on March 14–15. Adrian will then take on Oakland University the following week, a team currently receiving votes in the NCBA D3 Poll. First pitch for the spring opener is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at Nicolay Field.
