FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon. Adrian College baseball's Jaxon McGuigan was named MIAA Position Player of the Week.

McGuigan appeared in all three games for the Bulldogs in their series win over Hope College. He recorded five hits on the weekend, highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance in the series opener. He scored five runs and drove in three more. On Saturday, he tallied two doubles in game one and hit a home run in game two.

McGuigan is currently on a 10-game hitting streak, raising his season batting average to .355.
