Seven Bulldogs Earn All-MIAA Honors For Baseball Including Five First Team Selections

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the 2026 All-MIAA Baseball Teams on Thursday morning. The Adrian College baseball team earned five First Team All-MIAA selections and two Second Team All-MIAA honors.

Junior pitcher Ambrose Horwath earned First Team All-MIAA honors after posting a 9-1 record with a 2.76 ERA. Horwath led the Bulldogs with 62 innings pitched across 13 appearances. He allowed just 19 earned runs while striking out 35 batters, and opponents hit .270 against him.

Brendan Willadsen was named the First Team All-MIAA utility player. Willadsen batted .352 in 36 games, recording 44 hits in 125 at-bats with nine doubles, two triples, and three home runs. He also drove in 26 runs and drew 20 walks.

Jack Boike secured one of the outfield spots on the First Team. Boike appeared in all 39 games for Adrian, making 38 starts, and hit .346 with 46 hits in 133 at-bats. He totaled six doubles, one triple, and one home run while adding 25 walks and 11 stolen bases.

Rolando Jimenez earned the First Team nod at third base. At the time of the All-MIAA announcement, Jimenez led the Bulldogs with a .378 batting average. He collected 51 hits in 135 at-bats, including eight doubles, one triple, and two home runs. Jimenez also scored 27 runs and stole 13 bases.

At shortstop, Nic Bruder was named to the First Team after batting .310 in 39 games with 39 starts. Bruder recorded 49 hits in 158 at-bats with eight doubles, one triple, and two home runs. He scored a team-high 46 runs, walked 25 times, was hit by a pitch 10 times, and led Adrian with 19 stolen bases.

Catcher Gabe Jones earned Second Team All-MIAA honors after hitting .338 in 39 games with 37 starts. Jones totaled 50 hits while leading the team with 13 doubles and 43 RBIs. He also added four home runs during the season.

Parker Faris rounded out Adrian's honorees with Second Team All-MIAA recognition on the mound. Faris appeared in 13 games with four starts, finishing with a 7-1 record and a 2.56 ERA over 38.2 innings pitched. He allowed just 12 runs all season while holding opposing hitters to a .181 batting average.

The 2026 season marks the second career All-MIAA honor for Bruder, while the remaining six Bulldogs earned the first conference honors of their careers. Adrian will now turn its attention to the MIAA Tournament this weekend as the Bulldogs look to continue their postseason run.
