FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its All-MIAA softball teams on Wednesday morning. The Adrian College softball team saw Taylor Gerhardt earn First Team honors, while Addison Inskeep was named to the Second Team.
Gerhardt played in all 40 games for the Bulldogs, leading both Adrian and the MIAA with a .486 batting average. She totaled 70 hits in 144 at-bats, including nine doubles, six triples, and four home runs. Gerhardt scored 58 runs and drove in 27 RBIs. On the base paths, she was 36-for-38 in stolen base attempts.
Inskeep posted a .374 batting average across 35 games this season. She recorded 37 hits in 99 at-bats, including eight doubles, one triple, and four home runs. Inskeep also scored 26 runs and drove in 26 RBIs.
The honor marks the second All-MIAA selection of Gerhardt's career and the first for Inskeep.
The Bulldogs finished the season with a 20-20 overall record and will look to build on that performance next spring.
