Men’s Soccer Projected to Finish Fourth According to MIAA Preseason Poll

BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) released its 2026 men's soccer preseason poll on Tuesday morning, with the Adrian College men's soccer team projected to finish fourth in the conference. The Bulldogs received 29 points in voting by the MIAA men's soccer head coaches.

Adrian finished fourth in the MIAA standings last season with a 3-3-1 conference record. The Bulldogs advanced to the MIAA Tournament Semifinals after defeating Kalamazoo College, 2-1, in the quarterfinal round.

Calvin University was selected to win the MIAA with 48 points and six first-place votes. Hope College followed in second with 44 points and two first-place votes, while Albion College was selected third with 35 points. Adrian followed in fourth, while Kalamazoo College placed fifth with 26 points. Alma College and Trine University tied for sixth with 15 points, and The University of Olivet rounded out the poll with 12 points.

Adrian will officially open the 2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Hope College. Although both programs compete in the MIAA, the season opener will be considered a non-conference contest and will not count toward the conference standings.

The Bulldogs will host DePauw University in their home opener on Sunday, Sept. 6 before beginning MIAA play against Calvin on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Docking Stadium.
