BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) released its 2026 women's soccer preseason poll on Tuesday afternoon, with the Adrian College women's soccer team projected to finish fifth in the conference. The Bulldogs received 35 points in voting by the MIAA women's soccer head coaches.

Adrian finished sixth in the MIAA standings last season with a 3-5 conference record. The Bulldogs advanced to the MIAA Tournament before tying Trine University, 1-1, in the quarterfinal round and falling in penalty kicks.

Calvin University was selected to win the MIAA with 62 points and six first-place votes. Hope College followed in second with 59 points and three first-place votes, while Trine was selected third with 48 points. Kalamazoo College placed fourth with 41 points, followed by Adrian in fifth and Albion College in sixth with 33 points. Saint Mary's College was selected seventh, Alma College placed eighth, and The University of Olivet rounded out the poll in ninth.

Adrian will officially open the 2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1 when the Bulldogs travel to Heidelberg University for a 5 p.m. match. Adrian will host Wilmington College in its home opener on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs will begin MIAA play on Wednesday, Sept. 30 when they host Calvin at Docking Stadium.
