BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has released the 2026 MIAA Volleyball Preseason Poll. Adrian women's volleyball was picked to finish ninth, receiving ten points. 

Adrian brings in eight freshmen who will look to make an immediate impact this year. They will rely on the leadership of their six seniors as the Bulldogs look to prove the MIAA preseason poll wrong.

Calvin University is projected to win the conference following an NCAA Quarterfinals appearance last season. Coming in second in the poll is 2025 MIAA regular season champion Hope College, while Albion College rounded out the top three with 50 points. Trine University earned 43 points, Saint Mary's College earned 34 points, and the University of Olivet was tabbed to finish sixth with 29 points. Alma College placed seventh with 22 points, ahead of Kalamazoo College with 15 points and Adrian College with ten points.

Women's volleyball opens up its season in Tiffin, Ohio, where they will face four teams in two days. Their out-of-conference schedule includes trips to Ada, Ohio, and Meadville, Pa. They'll kick off the home campaign on September 15th at 6:30 PM when they host Oberlin College. 

In conference play, Adrian will be challenged on the road this year as they travel to Hope College, Albion College, and Calvin University, the projected top three teams in the conference. 

At home, Adrian will look to continue their recent dominance over Kalamazoo College on October 13th at 7:00 PM. The Bulldogs will look to make it six straight wins over the Hornets. The team will have a stretch of four home games from October 21st through November 4th. They will play host to Trine University, Alma College, Manchester University, and Saint Mary's College during this time. 

The Bulldogs will look to return to the MIAA tournament for the 18th time since the inaugural tournament in 1999.
