BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its Athlete of the Week awards on Monday, with Adrian College women's golfer Kennedy Kehres earning MIAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors.

Kehres was the medalist at the opening MIAA Jamboree after shooting a four-over-par 76. She carded two birdies during the round and led the Bulldogs to a first-place finish in the nine-team field.

As a team, Adrian shot a 318 to finish seven strokes ahead of second-place Hope College.

The Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday, September 22, at 11 a.m. at Clearbrook Golf Club.
