ADRIAN, Mich. - Nate Sarkissian was the hero of game one and Alex Webster was likewise in game two as Adrian swept visiting Alma on Saturday. The Bulldogs used late-inning heroics in both wins including Sarkissian's two-run, game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh in a 3-2 game one win.

Steve Vanderheyden reached on a fielding error by second baseman Adam Carrick which put runners on first and third with one out. Sarkissian took a 1-0 pitch and laced a line drive into the left center gap which reached the fence and allowed both runners to score.

Ryan Domschot got a no-decision for Adrian going 6.2 innings allowing two earned runs with three walks and five strikeouts. Nick Vandike gave up the go-ahead hit in the top of the seventh but got the win (2-2) needing only five pitches. Sarkissian was 3-for-4 in game one and Bilius and Alex Cowart also had two hits for Adrian.
