AC Women Score 66-60 Win at Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. - The women's basketball team got back to the .500 mark (5-5) on Saturday with a 66-60 win at Anderson University. AC picked up its first road win of the season and won back-to-back games in the process. Jennifer Perrin came into the game leading the team in scoring and finished with 20 points. She had six assists and four rebounds while shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 9-of-12 at the foul line. Elysia Norris recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards off the bench in 31 minutes. Norris was 5-of-11 from the floor and also had three steals.

Adrian trailed just once in the first half as they opened the game with a 6-1 run. Anderson and Adrian were tied twice in the opening half and the Bulldogs had the largest lead of six points at 32-26 with 2:07 left.

Anderson trailed 34-31 at halftime but built a 44-39 lead at the 15:07 mark of the second half as Stephanie Geeting connected on a three-pointer for the Ravens. Adrian regained the lead at 47-46 at 12:59 on an Elysia Norris layup and built their lead to 61-52 at the 5:28 mark on an Anita Stamps layup.

Anderson shot 42.9 percent from the field and were 14-of-18 at the foul line. Adrian shot 45.3 percent overall and were 16-of-29 at the line. The Bulldogs also got a seven-point, seven-rebound game from Ashley McClarren and seven points from Stamps and Jenn Headley.
