Women's Hoops Roll to 76-59 Victory

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's basketball team defeated Alma College by the final score of 76-59 on Saturday afternoon at the Merillat Center. Anita Stamps scored a game-high 21 points. Stamps had a complete game as she also added six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Adrian got out to a 30-26 lead at halftime. Stamps had 11 points at the break. Kayla Galecka hit two shots from behind the arc as she impacted the start of the game by scoring eight points in the first half.

The Bulldogs used a strong second half effort to put the Scots away. Adrian shot 60 percent from the field, and outscored Alma 46-33 in the final 20 minutes.

AC used a total team effort to record their eighth win of the season. Jennifer Perrin and Katie Ross each scored nine points against Alma, while Jenn Headley and Ashley McClarren added eight points.
