ADRIAN, Mich. – The Bulldogs scored the first points of the game Wednesday, but were held scoreless over the next seven minutes as Calvin College ran away with the conference opener for both teams 75-40. Adrian is now 1-4 on the year and 0-1 in the MIAA.

The Bulldogs were led by junior Kellee Wonders (Pittsford, Mich./Hudson) who dropped in 14 points to go along with four rebounds. Fellow junior Kayla Fowler (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) went 4-6 from the field for nine points while pulling down three boards. Sophomore Rachael Walker (Warrensville Hts., Ohio/John F. Kennedy) scored four points and grabbed a team-high five rebounds. Freshman Stephany Bohlmann (Webberville, Mich./Dansville) led the Bulldogs with four assists while knocking down one of the teams three-pointers.

The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday, December 4 for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off against MIAA opponent Olivet.
