THE OPPOSITION

= Georgie Andrews pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds and scored 10 points to complete a double-double. She also led Kzoo with four assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian led 20-15 after 10 minutes and took control of the game in the second quarter by outscoring the Hornets 23-9 to go up 43-24 at halftime. The Bulldogs shot 52.6 percent (10-19) from the field while holding Kzoo to 3-for-15 and 20 percent.

= The Bulldogs eventually got the lead up to 21 points (50-29) in the third quarter after a Graves layup with 6 minutes and 52 seconds left. Adrian led 57-41 after three quarters.

= To start the fourth quarter, Kzoo managed to cut the deficit to 57-47 as Tidey converted a four-point play with a trey and subsequent free throw and dished to Andrews on a layup for a 6-0 run.

= But the Bulldogs maintained their double-digit lead, responding to Kzoo's mini-push with a 7-0 run to go back up 64-47 with 7:49 remaining.

= Adrian dominated the paint (42-20) and the glass (61-37) for 16 second-chance points. The Bulldogs also generated 13 points off their fast break.

= The Hornets enjoyed the start of the game with a 7-2 advantage behind Tidey's five points. Morris scored six straight points to ignite an Adrian 16-4 run during a 5:37 run to go up 18-11; a three-pointer by senior Emily Somerville (7 points) gave the Bulldogs the lead for good during that stretch.

= Adrian extends its dominance over Kzoo in the all-time series, 67-31, including a 34-17 record at home.

= Graves extends her NCAA Division III-leading total to 42 blocked shots, giving her 72 in her career. On the school's all-time chart, she passes sixth-place TraeVie Shelton (70, 2012-15) and now ties Audrey Seymour (1989-93) for fifth.

= With tonight's win, Adrian snaps a season-long four-game losing streak.

= On the MIAA scoring chart, Morris ranks fourth with 15.9 points per game and Tidey is fifth with 15.4.

= Adrian's 61 rebounds are a season's best and three shy of cracking the top 10 in school single-game history.

UP NEXT
= Adrian will be idle until its post-Christmas game on Saturday, Dec. 29, against non-conference opponent Wisconsin-River Falls at home, starting at 1 p.m.
