Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind.--Host St. Mary's College (Indiana) made 24 of 28 free throws for 85.7 percent, and Adrian committed 23 turnovers, to beat the visiting Bulldogs 71-56 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball action on Saturday.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Senior Ashley Morris and junior Shannon Garvey led Adrian with 13 point apiece, followed by junior Emily Somerville with 12.
= Sophomore Sha'Trice Graves led all student-athletes with four blocked shots and had six rebounds.
= Classmate Rachel Bucher contributed three assists and three rebounds, while Garvey also had three assists.
THE OPPOSITION
= Jade Mosier led four Belles in double digits with a game-high 19 points, including 11-for-11 from the charity stripe.
= Erin Maloney added 14 points (6-6 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and seven steals.
= Giavanna Paradiso (7 rebounds, 5 assists) and Bella Dugas both scored 11 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The Belles were able to produce 20 points off those 23 Adrian turnovers.
= St. Mary's, which never trailed, led 23-13 after the first quarter and 41-30 at halftime. The Belles built as much as a 17-point bulge in the second half.
= Despite the loss, Adrian did control the glass by a 37-31 margin.
= Both teams struggled from the floor with Adrian making 40 percent of 55 field goal attempts while SMC was 37.5 on 56.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Graves, who entered the week as the NCAA Division III national leader in blocked shots, has 33 this season--already listing tied for ninth place in school history with the schedule not even at the midpoint. For her 29-game career, she has 63 blocks to rank ninth on the Bulldogs all-time chart.
= The Belles snapped the Bulldogs 12-game win streak in the series, which Adrian now owns 29-17 all-time. St. Mary's is 12-10 at home versus Adrian.
= Morris went over 700 career points tonight.
