FREELAND, Mich.--Ten-time regular-season champion Adrian College will open its 2017 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association tournament title defense on Wednesday when the nationally-ranked Bulldogs host Calvin College at 3 p.m. in Game 1 at Nicolay Field. Adrian College Television (ACTV) will carry the game live at this link and Adrian Athletics will have LiveStats. In fact, all MIAA tournament games at Adrian will have live video and stats.
Adrian won the season series over the Knights, 3-1, including a doubleheader sweep at home on April 13. The Bulldogs enter the postseason with a 30-10 overall record, No. 29 national ranking in the newly-released American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-30 (receiving 63 points in D3baseball.com Top-25), and 17-2 record at home. Adrian boasts the top offense (306 runs, 428 hits, 86 doubles, 17 triples, .324 batting average, .423 on-base percentage) and pitching (4.17 earned-run average/3.17 MIAA-only, .256 batting average against, 332 strikeouts) in the MIAA.
Individually, the Bulldogs are paced by six All-MIAA standouts.

Driving Directions to Adrian College
Nicolay Field is directly accessible from Creehan Lane, which is between Docking Stadium and Arrington Ice Arena, off of Charles Street. Click on the link for more information. Visitors can also reach Nicolay Field with parking available at adjacent AC Softball Field (off Renfrew Ave.).
Parking
There will be parking at a few places near and around Nicolay Field. The areas in red are preferred parking areas and if those are filled up, then parallel parking down Creehan Lane will be permitted. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT to fill the red areas first! PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON ANY GRASS NEAR AND AROUND THE FIELD!
