Box Score ALMA, Mich.--Sophomore Chelsea Palmer came off the Adrian bench to net a game-high 17 points and pull down 11 rebounds for her first double-double this season, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs couldn't find their shooting touch in a 67-56 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball loss at Alma on Saturday.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Palmer finished 6-for-15 from the field for her career-high 17 points in an Adrian uniform.
= Junior Sha'Trice Graves (5 points) led all student-athletes with 13 rebounds.
THE OPPOSITION
= Stasha Warchock led four Scots in double figures with 11 points. She also had six rebounds.
= Jeny Brandt, Jackie Jarvis and Emily Eldridge all scored 10 points each.
= Madison Hill (4 points) matched Brandt (2 blocked shots) with a team-best seven rebounds.
= Hannah Thelen (8 points) and Jarvis had a game-high four assists apiece.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian, which trailed by as many as 22 points in the second half, eventually cut the deficit in half in the fourth quarter, but was stymied by a .293 field goal percentage (17-58) and 19 turnovers.
= The Scots scored 23 points off those 19 miscues. Alma made 25 of 62 field goals for 40.3 percent.
= Things started off well for Adrian, which led by three, before ending the first quarter up 10-9. Senior Alivia Kondrath led the Bulldogs with five points during that stretch.
= But the Scots took control in the second quarter, going on a 28-11 run to lead 37-21 at halftime. Warchock led the way with 11 points, perfect from the field on four shots (2 treys).
= Alma also won the third quarter, 16-11, to stretch its lead to 53-32 with 10 minutes to go.
= Adrian had a huge advantage on the glass by collecting 52 rebounds to 33 for Alma.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Adrian matches its season high for rebounds as the Bulldogs also had 52 against Mount Mary on Jan. 15.
= Graves continues to lead the MIAA in rebounding with 9.9 per outing. She has 481 rebounds for her 62 game-career.
