Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--Sophomore Chelsea Palmer came off the bench to score an Adrian-high 11 points and junior Sha'Trice Graves pulled down 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the host Bulldogs fell to Alma, 63-45, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's basketball action on Wednesday evening.

= Sophomore Addison Bergman (4 points) chipped in six rebounds, three assists and a block.
= Classmate Alexis Sillman provided a spark off the Adrian bench with eight points and eight rebounds--both career highs.
THE OPPOSITION
= Hannah Thelen pumped in a game-high 23 points on 6-for-7 from the field and 9-for-12 at the free throw line, while getting five rebounds and three assists.
= Jeny Brandt had a double-double with 18 points (8-12 FGs) and game-best 12 rebounds, with five assists and two steals.
= Maddie Robbins (3 points) had seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian led 22-19 at halftime, but Alma outscored the Bulldogs in the second half, 44-23, to seal the road win.
= Alma made eight more field goals (22-14) than Adrian and held the Bulldogs to a 27.5 field goal percentage (14-51).
= Thelen made a fastbreak layup with 6 minutes and 31 second left in the third quarter to put Alma ahead for good, 26-25. The Scots ended the frame on a 14-8 run to go up 40-33.
= In the fourth, the visitors opened up the lead 45-35 at the 8:04 mark and never looked back after that.
= Adrian had 25 bench points to seven for Alma, which led 34-24 inside the key.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Graves has had double-digit rebounds in nine of her last 11 outings and she tops the MIAA with a 10.4 average. She now has 561 for her career, which is 13 shy of tying for fourth place in school history.
= Alma has won the last five meetings to take a 57-46 all-time series lead.
= Brandt is third in the conference with 8.8 rebounds per game.
= The Scots won for just the third time in 10 road starts this season.
