MIAMI, Ohio -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team swept Miami University (OH) on the road over the weekend, beating the Red Hawks by scores of 5-1 and 3-0.
 
Friday's dominating Bulldog win saw goals from forward Jasmine Reibel, defenseman Madison Grimm and forward Autumn Burgo, who potted her first goal in an Adrian uniform. Forward Avery Huxter also found the back of the net twice, to bring her goal total to eight on the season. Goaltender Jennifer Grant earned the win in net for the Bulldogs.
 
The Bulldogs put together another dominating performance in game two on Saturday afternoon, receiving goals from forwards Kathleen Droba, Jordin Giove, and Autumn Burgo. Goaltender Hannah Taylor secured the victory in goal, her second of the campaign.
 
The WD2 Bulldogs are set to face off against the University of Notre Dame this weekend in a home and home series. First on Friday night at the Arrington Ice Arena for a 10:00 PM puck drop, and then on the road in South Bend, Indiana for a 12:45 PM puck drop on Sunday afternoon.
