SAULT ST. MARIE, Canada. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team hit the road to Sault St. Marie, Canada on Friday and Saturday to take on Sault College, but left with two losses to their CCWHA opponents and defending Women's ACHA Division 2 National Champions.

The Bulldogs fell 8-3 on Friday night to their conference foes. Adrian goals came from Hannah Berenson and two from Bria Hirschman. Goaltender Jennifer Grant stood in goal for the Bulldogs in the loss.

Adrian did not come close in the second game as they were defeated 10-0 to close out the series. Goaltender Emily Tracht started for the Bulldogs but left the game in the first period. Grant entered in relief and finished the game for Adrian.

The WD2 Bulldogs now sit at 2-2 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday, October 21 when they visit Bowling Green for a 4:30 PM puck drop at the Slater Family Ice Arena. The two teams will then clash at the Arrington Ice Arena on Sunday, October 22 at 1:00 PM.
