ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey team swept the Marian University Sabres over the weekend in a home and home series, closing out their first semester in dominant fashion. The Bulldogs collected 9-1 and 6-1 wins.

On Friday night the Bulldogs exploded offensively on the road putting up nine thanks to Evan Bliss x2, James Schmidt x2, Anthony Alfonsi x2, Gavin Daum (first ACHA goal), Antonio Briggs-Blake, and Travis Symons. Goaltender Rex Goldberg earned the win in net for Adrian.

At home on Sunday the Bulldogs put on another strong offensive performance, this time on goals from Jakob Malenich x2, Alfonsi x2, Thomas Anderson and Bliss. Goaltender Luc Miklos made 17 saves in the Adrian victory.

The MD3 Bulldogs finish the first semester with a 3-14-1 record and will be back in action in mid-January 2024 when they face off against University of Michigan-Flint for two games.
