ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College baseball team announced it 2024 schedule earlier this week. Like always, the Bulldogs are slatted for a tough non-conference schedule to prepare for the MIAA season. The Bulldogs will take trips to Alabama, California, and North Carolina to open the season before heading back to the Midwest for the rest of the year.
 
Adrian kicks off its season with its annual trip to Birmingham Southern College for a three-game weekend with Wheaton College (IL), Birmingham Southern, and LaGrange College. After that, the Bulldogs will fly to California for a three-game series with Chapman University and a single game with Pomona-Pitzer. Adrian will finish its preseason travel with a three-game weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina with games against Greensboro College, University of Rochester (NY), and Maryville College (TN).
 
Adrian will open up at home with a three-team round robin tournament consisting of North Central College, Baldwin Wallace University, and Denison University on March 15-17 at Nicolay Field. From there the Bulldogs will travel to Heidleberg for a single game before hosting Wittenberg University for a three-game home set. The Bulldogs' last non-conference contest before conference play will be a single game at home against Mount Union.
 
The Bulldogs will open up MIAA conference play against Alma College at home on March 29 before completing the series with a doubleheader on the road the next day. Adrian will host MIAA doubleheaders against The University of Olivet, Kalamazoo College, and Calvin University while traveling to Alma College, Hope College, and Albion College for conference doubleheaders.
 
The Bulldogs will remain travel partners with Trine University where they will play single games on April 2, April 10, and April 16 during the conference slate. Trine will host games one and three while Adrian will host game two of the series.
 
Lastly, Adrian will sprinkle in a Sunday non-conference contest at The College of Wooster on April 21 leading up to the Hope College series and the Albion College series.
 
The Bulldogs look to use the 40-game regular season to prepare for another postseason run. The Bulldogs entered the 2023 MIAA Tournament at the No. 4 seed and worked their way through multiple elimination games to eventually reclaim the MIAA Tournament Championship. The Bulldogs moved on to the Marietta Regional where the season came to a close in the Regional Championship.
 
Adrian's first game of the 2024 season will be in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, February 23 when they face off against Wheaton College (IL).
