JACKSON, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's golf team began MIAA competition on Thursday as they competed in the opening MIAA Jamboree hosted by Albion College. The Bulldogs finished second out of the nine conference teams with a team score of 333.

Lauren Reed led the way for Adrian on Thursday afternoon shooting 79 to finish second as an individual. Olivia Ohmer and Riley Kleck each shot 84 for Adrian followed by Sara Bevington at 86 to complete the team scoring. Ainslee Hewitt rounded out the starting five shooting a 99. Ashlynn Challand competed as an individual on the day where she finished the round with a 91.

The Bulldogs will have a week off before traveling to Whitewater, Wisconsin for a two-day tournament hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The tournament is scheduled to take place on September 22-23.
