SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The Adrian College women's golf team competed in a two-day tournament hosted by Wittenberg University. The Bulldogs earned a third-place finish in the tournament with a two-day score of 650. Adrian shot 328 on Sunday before improving to a 322 on Monday.
Rachel Fay led the way for the Bulldogs as she tied for third in the field. Fay shot a 155 for the two rounds with an 80 on Sunday before shooting 75 on Monday.
Ainslee Hewitt shot 159 for the two days with an 80 and a 79 while
Mackenzie Schulz shot 167 with an 85 and 82.
Kennedy Kehres finished the tournament with a 172 after shooting back-to-back rounds of 86 while
Sami Burks rounded out the starting five with a 175 with an 83 and 92.
Rylie Yuhas played as an individual for the Bulldogs totaled a 172 with an 85 and an 87.
The two-day tournament in Ohio marked the final tune-up for the Adrian College women's golf team before the MIAA Spring Finale scheduled for April 24-25. The Bulldogs will serve as host of the MIAA Spring Finale at Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Friday's round will begin at 1PM followed by Saturday's round at 9AM.
