ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team began its season with two dominant wins over the University of Cincinnati over the weekend, winning 14-0 on Friday and 10-1 on Saturday.
The Bulldogs received goals from

Alex Schaumburger,
Cameron Armstrong,
Sebastian Smith,
Blake Wideman,
Nash Hatcher (x2),
Sheldon Nolan, and a hat-trick from
Matthew DiCesare. Junior goaltender,
Noah Decottignies, made 14 saves earning the shutout and win for Adrian.
Saturday saw the Bulldogs come out on top again in dominant fashion, with goals from
Blake Wideman,
Brayden Morris,
Chad Noetzel,
Sebastian Smith,
Dylan Gajewski, two from
Caleb Minns, and a hat-trick from
Alec Lindecker. Goaltenders
Peyton Trzaska and
Dylan Knighton each played thirty minutes, stopping 20 of 21 shots from Cincinnati.
The MD1 Bulldogs will face-off against GLCHL conference opponents Purdue Northwest University on Thursday night at 7:30 PM at the Arrington Ice Arena for Men's Wrestling MIAA Champions night, before heading to Indiana to face the Pride in the second leg of the home and home series on Saturday at 7:30 PM CST.
