GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team competed in the second MIAA Jamboree of the season at Thornapple Pointe on Wednesday afternoon. The Bulldogs went on to win the second round after a stellar performance shooting a 309. The last time the Bulldogs played at Thornapple Pointe was during the 2021-22 season where Adrian shot 333.
Olivia Ohmer led the way for Adrian as she was named Co-Medalist after shooting 75 to tie for first.
Riley Kleck and
Lauren Reed tied for second for the Bulldogs with a 76.
Sara Bevington finished with an 82 on the afternoon followed by
Ainslee Hewitt at 89.
Kennedy Kehres played as an individual where she shot 86.
Adrian slides up into first place in the MIAA standings with a two-round Jamboree total of 642. Calvin University sits in second place at 645 followed by Saint Mary's College in third at 650.
Lauren Reed jumps into first place as an individual in the MIAA with a two-round total of 155 to lead by one stroke.
Adrian's next competition will be Saturday, September 30 at Milham Park Golf Club for the third MIAA Jamboree of the season.
