WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Adrian College women's golf team competed at The Ruckus over the last two days in Virginia. The Bulldogs went on to place second out of the seven teams with a two-day total of 684. All five of Adrian's starters placed in the top-15 individually.
Lauren Reed led the way with a second place finish after shooting 163 over the two days. Reed shot an 81 on Saturday followed by and 82 on Sunday. Riley Kleck tied for seventh in the tournament shooting 81 and 89 for a total of 170. Ainslee Hewitt placed tenth with a 176 after shooting 87 and 89 followed by Sara Bevington in 11th at 177 after an 84 and a 93. Olivia Ohmer shot a two-day total of 184 to round out the starting five.
The Bulldogs will take a couple weeks off before competing in the Max/Susan Stith Invite hosted by Randolph Macon. The tournament will be help on April 8-9 at the Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Virginia.
