TECUMSEH, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team hosted the Adrian Spring Invite on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs went on to win the 13-team tournament totaling a team score of 321 while battling windy conditions.
Riley Kleck and
Lauren Reed tied for second in the field finishing as the individual runner ups. Kleck and Reed each shot 77 for the Bulldogs to finish +5 on the day.
Sara Bevington went on to shoot 83 for Adrian and place seventh while
Ainslee Hewitt shot 84.
Olivia Ohmer finished with an 88 to round out the starting five.
Adrian's second team was led by
Ashlynn Challand who finished the round with an 85. Abby Trepkowski shot 87 followed by a 95 from
Ella Mason,
Kennedy Kehres, and
Rylie Yuhas. The second Bulldogs team shot 362.
Adrian's third team was led by
Jamie Opfer who finished the round with a 94 for the Bulldogs.
Sami Burks shot 87 for Adrian while
Katie Bukovsky shot 115 and
Haisley Turnquist shot 116. The third Adrian team finished with a team score of 422.
Adrian will compete at the Steven Tyler Memorial Tournament on Monday, April 15 hosted by Kalamazoo College. Monday's tournament will start at 12:00 PM.
