LAKE PLACID, NY. -- The Adrian College intercollegiate figure skating team competed at the Intercollegiate Nationals over this past weekend, earning 188.0 points for a fifth-place finish at the 2024 tournament hosted in Lake Placid, New York.
After claiming their 10th Midwestern Conference Title a month prior, Adrian traveled 17 skaters to represent the Bulldogs on the national stage. The competition spanned three days featuring short program, free skate, solo pattern dance, solo free dance, and team maneuver events. 16 teams graced the ice at Herb Brooks Arena as skaters worked to earn individual and team national titles. This event celebrated the 25th anniversary of intercollegiate figure skating and even included lighting the Olympic Cauldron during the opening ceremonies. Overall, the University of Delaware earned top honors with 303.0 points, followed by Boston University (273.0), Dartmouth College (226.0), New York University (196.0), Adrian College (188.0), Cornell University (180.0), University of Denver & Trine University tied with (157.0), University of Pennsylvania (133.0), University of Washington (129.0), University of California - Los Angeles (124.0), University of California - Berkeley (122.0), Western Michigan University (120.0), Michigan State University (115.0), Liberty University (112.0), University of South Florida (111.0).

Jacob Costello became a national champion by winning the Excel Pre-Preliminary Men's Free Skate event.

Carina Cooper took home the bronze in the Novice Ladies Short Program and silver in Championship Women's Junior Freeskate. Junior
Maddie Myers earned bronze in the Intermediate Women's Short Program. Senior
Dianna Barker earned a pewter in Novice Solo Free Dance, silver in Bronze Solo Pattern Dance, and a pewter in Excel Intermediate Women's Freeskate. Senior
Kara Curtin earned bronze in Excel Preliminary Women's Freeskate. Junior
Emily Feldman brought home bronze in Excel Juvenile Women's Freeskate Group A. Freshman
Bella Morris earned the pewter in Excel Senior Women's Freeskate, and Sophomore
Lianah Noormohamed claimed the bronze medal in Excel Pre-Juvenile Women's Freeskate
