SAUGATUCK, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team began MIAA Jamboree play on Thursday afternoon as they traveled to Hope College to play at Clearbook Golf Club. The course played tough for the Bulldogs as they placed fourth out of the nine conference teams shooting a 335.
 
Sara Bevington led the way for the Bulldogs shooting 79 and tying for fifth place in the field. Lauren Reed tied for tenth after shooting 81 while Savana Smith shot 86. Riley Kleck and Olivia Ohmer each shot 89 for the Bulldogs. Ainslee Hewitt played as the Bulldog individual on Thursday where she shot 88 in the round.
 
After one round of play of the MIAA Jamborees, Saint Mary's sits in first place after shooting 313 followed by Calvin University in second (321), and Trine University in third (323). Hope College sits behind Adrian in fifth with a 346.
 
Adrian will travel to Heidelberg University tomorrow, Friday, September 13 for a non-conference two-day tournament slated to begin at 12:00 PM.
