MARSHALL, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team competed in a two-day tournament hosted by The University of Olivet on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs tied four fourth in the 14-team tournament shooting 327 on Friday and 318 on Saturday to total 645.
Sara Bevington shot the best for the two days for the Bulldogs as the team's individual. Bevington opened the tournament with a 78 on Friday followed by a 75 on Saturday to shoot 153 for the tournament.
Olivia Ohmer and
Lauren Reed both shot 158 for the two days. Ohmer opened the weekend with a 77 followed by an 81 on day two. Reed shot 80 on Friday and 78 on Saturday.
Riley Kleck shot 159 for the Bulldogs after firing an 83 on day one and a 76 on day two.
Savana Smith finished the weekend shooting 172 for Adrian after an 87 on Friday and an 85 on Saturday while
Ainslee Hewitt shot 176 with a 93 and an 83.
Bevington, Reed, and Ohmer were named to the All-Tournament team. Bevington finished tied for third in the field while Ohmer and Reed tied for seventh.
Adrian is back in action on Monday, September 9 when they host the Adrian "B" Tournament at Tecumseh Golf Club. The tournament will tee off at 1:00 PM.
