ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College ACHA Men's Division 1 hockey team climbed one spot in this week's ACHA Division 1 national rankings, moving up to No. 5 in the poll released Wednesday.
The Bulldogs hold a 13-3-2 record and are off to a 2-0 start in GL6 conference play. Their only losses this season have come against top-tier opponents — No. 1 Niagara, No. 2 Ohio, and No. 4 Liberty. Adrian has earned wins over both Liberty and Ohio earlier in the year and also skated to a tie with Niagara.
With the rise to No. 5, the Bulldogs become the highest-ranked team in the GL6, jumping ahead of Calvin University, which dropped to No. 7. Hope College checks in at No. 12, followed by Purdue Northwest at No. 14, Grand Valley State at No. 23, and Davenport at No. 25.
Adrian returns to action November 20–21 for a conference series against No. 25 Davenport. The opener is scheduled for Thursday at 7:05 PM at Arrington Ice Arena, with game two set for Friday on the road at 7:30 PM.
