UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Adrian College club volleyball team competed in the Saginaw Valley State Spring Tournament over the weekend where the Bulldogs came away as the Silver Bracket Champions.

In the opening match of the tournament, Adrian faced a tough challenge against Northern Michigan University, falling in three sets. The Bulldogs then battled against Saginaw Valley State University but came up short once again in three sets. However, they rebounded in their final match, securing a 2-1 victory over the University of Michigan-Flint.

Senior
Samantha Wright led the Bulldogs in aces with six, while senior
Madison Ritchie led the offense with a team-high 30 kills. At the net, freshman
Shanelle Woods made her presence known with eight blocks.

Adrian will be back in action on Saturday, March 15, as they travel to Detroit, Michigan, to compete in the Detroit Mercy Tournament.
