BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Adrian College women's golf team's season came to a close on Tuesday afternoon at the MIAA Spring Final. The Bulldogs finished third out of nine conference teams after two days of competition. Adrian shot a 341 on Monday, followed by a 327 on Tuesday, for a total of 668 for the tournament.
Leading the Bulldogs was Sara Bevington, who tied for third overall. Bevington posted a score of 79 on Monday and 81 on Tuesday to finish with a total of 160 for the tournament. Lauren Reed finished 12th, improving from an 89 on day one to a 78 on day two, totaling 167. Olivia Ohmer tied for 15th, recording scores of 83 and 89 to finish with a 172. Ainslee Hewitt shot 90 and 84 to total 174, while Riley Kleck rounded out the starting five with a 177, shooting 93 and 84.
Competing as an individual, Savana Smith also tied for 15th place, posting scores of 89 and 83 for a total of 172.
With a total of 1,971 over the six conference rounds, the Bulldogs ended the MIAA season in third place. Saint Mary's claimed the MIAA Automatic Qualifier, while Trine University finished second. Adrian College will return in the fall as they look to reclaim the conference title in the 2025-26 season.
