ADRIAN, Mich. - The NCSA D1 softball team has earned an at-large bid and will compete in the 2025 Great Lakes Regional Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
The Bulldogs enter the regional tournament as the No. 4 seed and are set to take on top-seeded University of Michigan this Saturday at 12:00 PM at the Riverview Softball Complex in Elkhart, Indiana. With a victory, Adrian will advance to face the winner of the No. 2 University of Wisconsin vs. No. 3 Michigan State University matchup. The champion of this regional will punch their ticket to the NCSA Division I World Series in Columbus, Georgia.
Adrian wrapped up the regular season with a 12-18 overall record, showing growth and resilience throughout the year. Leading the charge offensively is standout
Greer Simpson, who boasts a team-high .386 batting average, racking up 34 hits, 10 doubles, and 28 RBIs. The Bulldogs' offense is deep, with five players batting over .350 heading into the postseason.
