FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has released its preseason poll for the 2025 football season. Voted on by the league's head coaches, Adrian College received 23 points and is projected to finish third in the conference.
The Bulldogs are coming off a solid 2024 campaign, finishing 6-4 overall and 3-4 in MIAA play. Under first-year head coach Joe Palka, Adrian opened the season with a 4-0 record — their best start since 2019.
Adrian will kick off the 2025 season on the road against NCAA Division I opponent Valparaiso University on September 6, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET. The Bulldogs return home the following Saturday, September 13, to host Thiel College. Homecoming festivities are scheduled for the next week. MIAA conference play begins on the road against the University of Olivet on September 27.
At the top of the preseason poll, Alma College and Hope College sit at first and second, each receiving four first-place votes. Following Adrian in the rankings are Trine University in fourth and Albion College in fifth. The poll is rounded out by the University of Olivet, Calvin University, and Kalamazoo College.
