ALMA, Mich. – The Adrian College men's wrestling team competed at the annual Mid-States Invitational, hosted by Alma College, turning in several strong individual performances throughout the tournament.
At 141 pounds,
Kenneth Thomas battled to a 1-2 record. In the 149-pound bracket,
Austin Seta went 2-2 on the day, earning both of his victories by pinfall. Teammate
Collin Oliver also competed at 149, finishing with a 1-2 record.
Dominik Whitesel added a win by major decision on his way to a 1-2 showing in his weight class.
Rickey Lynch delivered one of the top performances for the Bulldogs, placing third at 165 pounds with a 4-1 record. His path to the podium included victories by major decision, pinfall, and decision. Also at 165,
Paden Gordinier secured a win by pin en route to an eighth-place finish.
At 174 pounds,
Angelo Mastroianni claimed eighth place with a 2-3 record, earning both wins by decision.
Benjamin Grenesko rounded out the Bulldogs' placers at 197 pounds, finishing seventh with two victories by major decision.
