NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the 2026 All-Region selections for indoor track and field on Wednesday afternoon.
The top eight individuals in each event from each region on the year-end descending order lists earned All-Region distinction, along with each member of the region's top eight relay teams.
Adrian College Bulldogs competes in the Great Lakes Region and earned seven All-Region honors in total, including four on the men's side and three on the women's side.
Ian Kramp earned All-Region honors in the heptathlon during his sophomore season. Kramp placed third at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Indoor Combined Events with a program-record score of 4,179 points. He recorded times of 7.56 seconds in the 60-meter dash, 9.92 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, and 2:57.40 in the 1,000-meter run. Kramp also posted marks of 6.49 meters in the long jump, 1.60 meters in the high jump, 3.75 meters in the pole vault, and 10.76 meters in the shot put.
Keith Scott claimed All-Region honors in the weight throw for Adrian. Scott steadily improved throughout the season, beginning the year with a throw of 16.38 meters. At the WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge in February, he improved to 17.28 meters before recording a throw of 17.31 meters to place second at the MIAA Championships. He later extended his own program record with a mark of 17.46 meters at the Polar Bear Final Qualifier.
Jaymes Vines earned two All-Region selections in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Vines opened the season with a time of 7.12 seconds in the 60-meter before posting a personal-best 6.84 seconds to place second at the MIAA Championships. In the 200-meter dash, he improved from an early-season mark of 22.76 seconds to a personal-best 22.01 seconds at the MIAA Championships, earning another silver medal.
On the women's side, Alysia Townsend accounted for all three All-Region honors for the Bulldogs, earning recognition in the high jump, long jump, and pentathlon. Townsend set a new program record in the pentathlon with 2,939 points at the MIAA Combined Events, placing fourth overall. She posted times of 9.49 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 2:49.05 in the 800-meter run, along with marks of 8.96 meters in the shot put, 5.36 meters in the long jump, and 1.55 meters in the high jump.
Townsend later improved her long jump mark to 5.58 meters at the MIAA Championships to win the event and earn MIAA Individual Champion honors. She also placed second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.62 meters, matching her personal best.
Adrian did not produce a national qualifier for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this season, but the Bulldogs will now turn their attention to the outdoor campaign with hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Championships later this spring.
