SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Adrian College figure skating team traveled west over the weekend to compete at the US Figure Skating National Intercollegiate Finals. The Bulldogs placed sixth out of 17 teams with 190 points during the three-day event. Adrian also crowned two individual national champions and added nine more medal-winning performances.
Christine Koran earned a national championship in the Juvenile Free Dance, while Lianah Noormohamed claimed national champion honors in the Preliminary Free Skate. With the two titles, Adrian College now boasts 31 national champions in program history from 18 different athletes.
The Bulldogs also had nine additional medalists. Mallory Crandle placed fourth in the Juvenile Free Skate, Brianna Hales finished fourth in the Preliminary Free Skate, Lena Hales took third in the Preliminary Plus Free Skate, Brooklyn Amburgey placed fourth in the Preliminary Free Skate, and Carina Cooper finished fourth in the Junior Free Skate. Noormohamed added a third-place finish in the Juvenile Free Dance, while Miranda Sutton earned fourth in the Silver Pattern Dance. Chloe Ewing recorded two medals, placing third in the Juvenile Short Program and fourth in the Juvenile Long Program.
Adrian concluded the 2025-26 season at the US Figure Skating National Intercollegiate Finals. The Bulldogs graduate 10 seniors: Chloe Ewing, Maya Renzoni, Miranda Sutton, Kayla Robinson, Kate Morey, Mallory Crandle, Lianah Noormohamed, Melissa Crawford, Kendra Shoup, and Carina Cooper.
The Adrian College figure skating team will return to action next winter for the 2026-27 season.
