BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its preseason poll for men's golf on Monday morning, with the Adrian College men's golf team projected to finish fourth in the conference this season. The poll was voted on by the MIAA men's golf head coaches.

The MIAA men's golf season consists of four rounds during the fall regular season, followed by a two-round Spring Final in the spring. The team with the lowest combined score across all six conference rounds will earn the MIAA's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.

Adrian received 28 points in the preseason poll after finishing fourth in the conference last season with a 309.83 average across the six MIAA rounds. The Bulldogs' lowest round of the season came at MIAA Jamboree #3 at Pine River Country Club, where Adrian carded a 301. The Bulldogs also posted a 304 at MIAA Jamboree #1 at Marshall Country Club.

Trine University leads the preseason poll with 46 points and three first-place votes. Calvin University follows with 45 points and three first-place votes, while Hope College was selected third. Adrian follows in fourth, ahead of Albion College in fifth, Kalamazoo College in sixth, Alma College in seventh, and The University of Olivet in eighth.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to open the 2026-27 season on September 2-3 with a non-conference event, followed by another non-conference event on September 5-6. Adrian will then host a non-conference event on September 11-12.

The MIAA Jamborees will begin on Tuesday, September 29, at Trine University. Adrian College will host Jamboree #2, followed by Hope College hosting Jamboree #3 and Kalamazoo College hosting Jamboree #4.
