In what was a close game early on Saturday afternoon quickly turned into an easily controlled contest by the Adrian College men's lacrosse team against the Sewanee Tigers.
With the score tied at 3-3 at the end of the first period, the Bulldogs blew the game wide open with a 14-1 second quarter that included a 9-0 run to open the frame to take a 17-4 lead into the locker room at the half.
The Bulldogs continued to outscore the Tigers in the second half by netting 14 goals to the Tigers' five for the 31-9 win.
In their highest offensive-output of the year, the Bulldogs eclipsed the 25 goal mark for the third time this season. Camerin Staffel led all scorers with six goals on the afternoon for the Bulldogs. Ryan Knautz and Jeff Ivey were right behind Staffel with five goals each. Bruce Walker (4), Tony Schrank (3), Sam Alden (2), and Matt Gregson (2) also had multi-goal efforts on the day.
With the win, the Adrian College men's lacrosse team pushes their current winning-streak to five straight games. The Bulldogs (6-6) will finish up their season on the road with their next game taking place on Saturday, April 26 at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.
