FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - At the conclusion of the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's lacrosse regular season, head coaches from the MIAA's seven member institutions that sponsor men's lacrosse voted on the All-MIAA awards. Adrian College was proudly represented with two student athletes on both the All-MIAA First Team and Second-Team.
Senior offensive midfielder
Alec Winegar earned his spot on the All-MIAA First Team after his standout performance offensively and defensively. While, sophomore goalkeeper
Josiah Karnehm has been a brick wall for this Bulldogs squad, earning a shot on All-MIAA Second Team.
Winegar, hailing from Zeeland, Michigan, started in all 17 games for Adrian recording 25 goals and 16 assists for a total of 41 points. Out of five of those goals were man up goals. Defensively, Winegar collected nine ground balls and four caused turnovers.
From the pride of Byron Center, Michigan, Karnehm has been the back-bone of this Adrian defense. He has started in all 17 games this season, recording 268 saves off of 478 shots on cage, with a 14.37 goals against average, and a .561 save percentage. Karnehm has also collected 41 ground balls and two caused turnovers, and recorded one assist on the year.
