Final Stats
WAUWATOSA, Wis. -
The Adrian College men's lacrosse team (7-3) defeated MSOE on Saturday afternoon by the final score of 27-4. TJ Cook and Scott Krystiniak each scored four goals for the Bulldogs.
Adrian scored 11 goals in the first quarter to put the game out of reach. Eight different players scored for the Bulldogs in the first 15 minutes of action. David Monroe scored a goal and added three assists. DJ Clevely was also heavily involved in the offense. Clevely scored two goals and picked up an assist in the first.
The tempo slowed down in the second quarter, but the Bulldogs offense still looked solid. Tyler Tanguay, TJ Cook, Brad Higgins, and Scott Krystiniak all scored giving AC a 15-1 lead at halftime.
Adrian led 22-4 after the third quarter. John Hudzinski played well in the third. He scored one goal and also made two assists. Cook also picked up two assists. Adrian shut out MSOE in the final quarter of play to earn the 27-4 victory.
Three different goalies got into the game for Adrian. Pat Gaeger got the win and made two saves. Peter Moore logged the most minutes and therefore made the most saves of the trio with seven. Eric Lindstrom played eight minutes and made one save.
