Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College men's lacrosse team ended the March schedule on Saturday with a 13-2 non-conference loss to Otterbein University at home.

= Junior Cody Schmitt led Adrian with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= The visiting Cardinals led wire-to-wire, winning 13 of 18 face-offs.
= Otterbein led 3-0 after 15 minutes and outscored Adrian 4 to 1 in the second half to take a 7-1 lead going into the locker room.
= Waldrup's team-leading 16th goal of the season cut Adrian's deficit to 4-1 with 10 minutes and 33 seconds remaining in the second stanza.
= Otterbein went 3-for-8 on the man-up and its defense held Adrian scoreless in 11 like opportunities.
= Carlos Salazar was key to the Cardinals' possession game, winning 13 of 18 face-offs and scooping up a game-high nine ground balls.
THE OPPOSITION
= Robbie Guiliano led all players with six goals and seven points.
= Connor Baak also notched a hat trick and had two assists.
= Joe Sanfillipo contributed four assists and four ground balls.
= Adam Grumman had three of his team's seven caused turnovers.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Waldrup's 16 shots also tie a school single-game record held by four other student-athletes. 16, Eric Fannell at Olivet College on May 1, 2014, was the last Bulldog to achieve that mark.
= Farrelly increased his Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-leading season saves total to 114, which already lists seventh all-time on the Adrian chart with eight contests left on the schedule.
= Adrian outshot Otterbein 38 to 36, but the Cardinals led 27 to 17 in shots on goal.
= The Bulldogs still lead the all-time series 4-3.
