ALBION, Mich.--Cameron Braun scored a game-high seven goals to pace host Albion College to a 22-7 victory Tuesday over Adrian College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse action.

= Senior Doug Boyd led the Bulldogs with two goals.

= Junior Cody Schmitt and sophomore Michael Turner matched Boyd's two points with a goal and an assist each. Schmitt added a team-best six ground balls.

= Senior goalkeeper Brett Farrelly made nine stops in 47 minutes and 54 seconds.

= Classmate Jake Waldrup (1 goal) ripped 14 shots and 10 shots on goal to pace all student-athletes in both categories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= Albion blitzed to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

= The Britons also controlled the possession in ground balls (36-16), shots (54-35) and face-offs (23-8).

THE OPPOSITION
= Braun's offensive output just missed Albion's single-game record of eight goals.

= Brad Bogus, playing his fourth career game as the goalkeeper, collected 15 saves.

= David DiRado matched Braun with game-high scoring honors of seven points on two goals and five assists.

= Kyle DeCamp won 17 of 23 face-offs and scooped up 15 ground balls.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Farrelly has 139 saves on the season, which is sixth all-time on the Adrian single-season chart.

= Despite the loss, Adrian still holds a 7-2 all-time series lead over the Britons.
