Box Score HOLLAND, Mich.--Hope College scored at least four goals in every quarter to defeat visiting Adrian College, 18-2, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's lacrosse action on Saturday.

= Both Thomas Sprys Tellner and Nick Bazany had four ground balls, while the latter caused three turnovers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= Hope scored seven unanswered goals after Polischuk tied it 1-all with 11 minutes and 18 seconds left in the first quarter.
= Hope led 9-2 at the halftime break.
= Both teams cleared well (Adrian: 16-for-19, Hope: 22-for-24), but the Bulldogs had 30 turnovers to the Flying Dutchmen's 23.
= Hope also enjoyed statistical advantages in shots (46-24), ground balls (24-18) and shots on goal (26-13).
= The squads combined to go 0-and-12 on man-up situations.
= Hope held Adrian scoreless in the second half while producing nine goals.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Adrian freshman Griffin Davison was held off the scoreboard for the first time this season, but remains in the MIAA top-5 for goal scoring (tied for third with 22).
= The Bulldogs went 1-3 on its season-long four-game road swing.
= Senior Cody Schmitt had a ground ball and caused turnover today. He's Adrian's active leader with 226 ground balls, which is second all-time behind Mitch Barnard (290 from 2010-12). Schmitt is the program career record holder with 101 caused turnovers.
