Box Score HOLLAND, Mich.--The Adrian College men's lacrosse team had a difficult task on the road Saturday against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association co-leader Hope College, as the host Flying Dutchmen hand the Bulldogs a 23-4 loss.

= Sophomore Brayden Adrian led the Adrian offense with four points on a goal and three assists.

THE OPPOSITION
= Rocco Mularoni had game highs of five assists and six total points.
= Grant Brogan (4g), Gino Battaglia (4g) and Max Kuiper (3g, 1a) chipped in four points apiece.
= Marshall VanBelkum and Josh Blackburn led Hope's hustle efforts with eight and seven ground balls, respectively.
= Andrew Caris anchored the defensive effort with a game-high five caused turnovers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Hope led 5-1 at the end of the first quarter and 14-3 at halftime. The Flying Dutchmen outscored the Bulldogs 6-0 in the third quarter.
= The hosts also led in face-off wins (21-8), ground balls (35-23), turnovers (17-25) and shots (48-19).
= Adrian put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard to make it 4-1 with 6 minutes and 18 seconds left in the opening quarter, but Hope countered with a last-second goal from Kuiper on a feed from Caris. That tally started a 9-0 run for the Flying Dutchmen.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= Senior Michael Desmadryl earned four more ground balls to give him 131 for his career--six away from fourth place in Bulldogs history.
= Classmate Greg Stewart moved past Mitch Barnard (2010-12) for sole possession of ninth place in Adrian caused turnovers history with 32.
= Hope has won three straight meetings but Adrian still leads the all-time series at 4-3.
