CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Adrian College men's and women's rowing team opened up its fall season at the Head of the Cuyahoga in Cleveland last weekend. The Bulldogs started the year on a high note medaling in six events between the men's and the women's team.
Adrian eared a silver medal in the Men's Open Novice 4+.
Mallory Wood,
Dylan Cumberland,
John Smith,
Andew Wilkinson, and
Nick Iorio finished with a time of 19:06.8. The women's team grabbed the gold medal in the Women's Open 4+.
Grace Lambert,
Avery Kelley,
Kaitlyn Kimble,
Celeste Fellberg, and
Elizabeth Bowler completed a time of 20:55.9.
The Men's Open 8+ picked up a silver medal for Adrian.

Seth Parsons,
Andre Shellum,
Franco Van Oordt,
Kade Doyle,
Cole Rice,
Evan Barletta,
Andrew Black, and
Connor Whalen brought in a time of 15:41.3. The Men's Open 4+ picked up another silver medal as Wyzlic, Parsons, Doyle, Van Oordt, and Barletta finished with a time of 17:33.3. The men's team earned their fourth medal of the day in the Men's Open 2x with Whalen and Shellum placing second with a time of 18:59.5.
The women's team went on to earn their second medal of the day in the Women's Open 2x with Kimble and Kelley grabbing the gold with a time of 23:24.0.
The Bulldogs will end return to action on Saturday, September 30 when they compete at the Head of the Grand in Lansing, Michigan.
