GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The GL6 Hockey Conference announced its Players of the Week for the week of December 9-15 yesterday, with Ethan McLaughlin of the Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team earning Defenseman of the Week honors.

McLaughlin (Penticton, British Columbia, Canada) put up 1 goal and 3 assists in the Bulldogs' 8-2 win over the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines last Thursday night to close the Fall semester.

The Senior defender and Assistant Captain of the MD1 Bulldogs has been scorching hot as of late, recording 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points over his last 5 contests. McLaughlin currently leads his team in defensive production, operating at a point-per-game pace with 5 goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 20 games played so far this season.
