ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College ACHA Men's Division 3 hockey team has cracked the Top 25 in the National ACHA D3 Poll released Friday afternoon. This marks the first Division 3 poll of the 2025-26 season, with the Bulldogs earning their spot after a strong start to the year. Adrian currently sits at 5-3 overall.
The Bulldogs opened the season with a four-game winning streak before suffering three consecutive one-goal losses. Adrian bounced back last weekend with a thrilling 7-6 victory over Aquinas College.
Leading the way offensively for the Bulldogs is Maximilian Schadel, who has tallied eight goals and ten assists through the first eight games. Solyom Andras follows closely behind with seven goals and nine assists for a total of 16 points.
In goal, Peyton Lenger and Ryan Rainey have shared duties between the pipes. Lenger holds a 3-1 record with a 2.75 goals-against average and a .817 save percentage, while Rainey is 2-2 with a 2.52 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
Adrian will look to continue climbing the rankings this weekend with a two-game series against No. 17 Western Michigan. Game one is scheduled for Friday, October 31, at 4:00 PM at the Arrington Ice Arena, followed by game two on the road in Kalamazoo on Saturday, November 1, at 4:30 PM.
