ADRIAN, Mich. – The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) has released its first round of computerized rankings for Men's Division I hockey, with the Adrian College ACHA Men's Division I team coming in at No. 7 in the nation. The Bulldogs currently hold a 9-2-1 record on the season.
Adrian's offensive production has been fueled by Eli Reimer (8 goals, 15 assists), Justin Jamer (8 goals, 12 assists), and Sebastian Smith (11 goals, 8 assists). Blake Wideman has also been a consistent scoring threat, ranking second on the team with 10 goals.
In net, Dylan Eliason and Peyton Trzaska have split time for the Bulldogs. Trzaska boasts a 7-1 record, while Eliason sits at 4-1-1. Together, the goaltending tandem has combined for an impressive 1.78 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
Ohio University holds the top spot in the national rankings, with its only loss of the season coming against Adrian. The Bulldogs have also recorded notable results this year, splitting a two-game series with No. 6 Liberty University and sweeping No. 15 Pittsburgh.
Within the GL6 Conference, five of the seven teams appear in the Top 25. Calvin University leads the group at No. 5, followed by Adrian (No. 7), Hope College (No. 11), Purdue Northwest (No. 14), and Davenport University (No. 22).
Adrian will face another major test this weekend, hosting No. 2 Niagara University for a two-game series at the Arrington Ice Arena. Game one is scheduled for Thursday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m., with the series concluding Friday at 3:05 p.m
